Apple make an app named Pages, part of their iWork office suite. This post explains how to delete one of your Pages templates. It does not explain how to delete one of Apple’s templates for Pages.

Token users can choose Pages > My Templates from the menu and move unwanted templates to the Trash.

Or maybe you want to manually delete a template:

  1. Quit Pages (or press command+Q)
  2. From the Finder, go to Pages templates folder:
    <Macintosh HD/Users/YourUserAccount/Library/Application Support/iWork/Pages/Templates/My Templates/>
    If you’re using OS X Lion see the tip below.
  3. Click once on a template
  4. Choose the File > Move to Trash menu command (or press command+delete)
  5. Launch Pages
NB OS X Lion hides the Library folder. To make it visible from the Finder choose the Go > Go to Folder menu command and type “~/Library”. You’ll now be able to go to the <Application Support/iWork/Pages/Templates/My Templates> folder.
